Description
The TKED64X is a 60cm freestanding double oven cooker finished in stainless steel, with a ceramic hob above a 68L main oven and a 31L second cavity. It suits kitchens where the other appliances are already stainless and a matching cooker is wanted without moving to built-in units.
The larger main oven is the reason most buyers choose a 60cm cooker over a 50cm one. At 68L it takes a full roasting tin with space around it for heat to move, which matters for even browning. The 31L upper cavity handles the grilling and smaller dishes, so a weekday meal need not involve heating the main oven at all, and the two can be used at different temperatures when a bigger meal calls for it.
Five cooking functions are available between the cavities. The ceramic hob provides four zones, three at 1200W and one at 1800W, on a flat glass surface with no pan supports to lift out when cleaning.
Both ovens use an easy-clean enamel lining and the door glass is removable for washing. A grill pan and two chrome wire shelves are supplied. External dimensions are 59.5cm wide, 60.0cm deep and 90.0cm high, net weight is 47.6kg, the published energy rating is A, and the appliance is covered by a two year warranty when registered.
