Ian co-founded Protech with his wife, Jo, growing it into a trusted local business. He leads Protech Electrical, established in 1989, bringing extensive experience in industrial, commercial, and domestic engineering. Outside work, Ian manages Leek Town Ladies, guiding them through the leagues, and enjoys family time and travel.

Jo co-founded Protech with her husband, Ian, and manages the financial side while overseeing Protech Domestic Appliances, established in 1995. She takes pride in its strong local reputation for quality service. Outside work, Jo enjoys time with her family and dogs, staying active, and traveling.

Jayne, a valued team member and close family friend, joined Protech in 2012 as a shop assistant and is now the shop manager. Known for her excellent customer service and product knowledge, she receives great feedback from customers. Outside work, she enjoys reading, time with her dogs, and traveling.

Erica, one of the Protech family by blood, joined us in July 2020 and since starting with us she has thrived in the role. Erica loves to cook in her spare time and used to be a chef by profession. She also has an interest in Cosplay too! 

Phil, one of Protech’s longest-serving employees, joined in 1999 and is a highly skilled electrician with invaluable experience. He has worked on thousands of jobs and is a key member of the Protech Electrical team. A dedicated family man, he enjoys time with his wife, children, and grandchildren, attending church, and playing the electric keyboard—sometimes successfully, as he puts it! Phil’s positivity always brings a smile to the team.

Ryan, son of Jo and Ian, joined Protech in 2015 as an apprentice and has worked his way up to a fully qualified Approved Electrician. He is a key part of the Protech Electrical team with extensive experience. Outside work, he stays active in the gym, enjoys football, captains a local darts team, and loves traveling with friends.

Steve joined Protech in October 2019 and specializes in repairing and fitting electrical domestic appliances, as well as handling deliveries. A hardworking and knowledgeable team member, he consistently receives praise from customers for his excellent service. Outside work, he enjoys cycling and spends much of his free time riding and maintaining his bike.
