Description
The TKED64W is a 60cm freestanding double oven cooker in white with a ceramic hob, the standard choice for a family kitchen replacing a like-for-like appliance. The main oven holds 68L, the second cavity 31L, and the hob carries four zones rated at three by 1200W and one by 1800W.
The 68L main cavity is the practical headline. It takes a full-size roasting tin with room around it for air to circulate, which is what a 50cm cooker struggles with, and it is the reason most buyers step up to a 60cm model. The 31L top cavity sits above it and doubles as the grill, so smaller jobs and browning do not require heating the big oven at all.
Five cooking functions are available across the two cavities, and the hob’s flat ceramic surface means there are no pan supports or burner wells to clean around. Spills can be wiped off the glass once it has cooled rather than left to accumulate.
Both cavities are lined in easy-clean enamel and the door glass is removable, which is the only reliable way to deal with marks that settle between the panes. A grill pan and two chrome wire shelves are included. The cooker measures 59.5cm wide, 60.0cm deep and 90.0cm high and weighs 47.6kg net. The published energy rating is A, with two years of warranty cover on registration.
