Description
The TKED54B is a 50cm freestanding electric cooker in black, intended for kitchens that cannot accommodate a 60cm appliance but still want two separate oven cavities. A 61L main oven sits below a 31L top cavity, and the ceramic hob carries four zones: three rated at 1200W and one at 1800W.
Two cavities are the main reason to choose this over a single oven cooker. The top compartment heats quickly and takes the grilling work, so browning a tray of sausages or finishing a gratin does not mean bringing the full 61L oven up to temperature first. On a weeknight that saves real time, and it leaves the main oven free at a different setting.
Five cooking functions are available across the cavities, and the hob is a flat ceramic surface, so there are no pan supports to lift out and spills wipe straight off the glass once it has cooled. Inside, the enamel lining is designed to clean easily and the door glass is removable, which is the only sensible way to deal with splashes that work their way between the panes.
Supplied accessories are a grill pan and two chrome wire shelves. The cooker measures 49.6cm wide, 60.0cm deep and 90.0cm high, with a net weight of 42.5kg, so it drops into a standard 500mm gap. The published energy rating is A and the warranty is two years with registration.
