The TKGD60B is a 60cm freestanding gas cooker in black, suited to kitchens already plumbed for gas where the cook prefers a visible flame and instant control over the heat. It combines a four burner gas hob with two cavities: a 71L main oven and a 25L compartment above.
The cast iron pan supports are worth paying attention to. Unlike pressed steel, cast iron holds its shape under heavy casseroles and woks, sits flat on the hob rather than rocking, and can be lifted off and washed properly. That makes a real difference for anyone who cooks with substantial pans or moves them around while the burner is lit.
The 71L main cavity is among the largest in this range and takes a full roasting tin with room for air to circulate around it. Above it, the 25L cavity deals with grilling and smaller dishes, so quick jobs do not involve bringing the main oven up to temperature. A hinged glass lid folds down over the hob when it is not in use, giving back a little worktop space and keeping dust off the burners.
