Description
The TKGD60X is the stainless steel version of Teknix’s 60cm gas cooker, intended for kitchens where the other appliances are already brushed steel and the cooker needs to match. It pairs a four burner gas hob with a 71L main cavity and a 25L cavity above.
The cast iron pan supports do more than they appear to. They are heavy enough that a full pan will not shift them, they stay flat rather than distorting with heat as pressed steel can, and they lift away in one piece so the hob surface underneath can be cleaned properly. Anyone cooking with woks or large casserole dishes will notice the difference in stability.
The 71L main oven is the biggest cavity across the Teknix freestanding range and gives room for a full roasting tin with air moving around it. The 25L cavity above takes the grilling and small-tray work, so there is no need to heat the main oven for a quick meal. A hinged glass lid closes over the burners when the hob is not in use.
A grill pan and handle set and two wire shelves are included. The cooker is 60.0cm wide, 60.0cm deep and 90.0cm high, weighs 48.7kg net, and takes its electrical supply at 220-240V, 50Hz through a fitted 3 pin UK plug. The published energy rating is A, and the warranty runs for two years with registration.
