Description
The TKGD60W is a 60cm freestanding gas cooker in white, aimed at households replacing an existing gas appliance who want a straightforward like-for-like swap. It carries a four burner gas hob over two cavities, a 71L main oven and a 25L compartment above it.
Gas remains the preference for a lot of cooks because the heat changes the instant the control is turned, and the flame size gives a visual reading of how hard a pan is working. The cast iron pan supports suit that style of cooking: they are heavy enough to stay put under a full casserole, they do not flex like pressed steel, and they lift off for washing when the hob needs a proper clean.
At 71L the main cavity is one of the largest in the Teknix range and will take a full roasting tin with space around it. The smaller 25L cavity above handles grilling and quicker dishes, which keeps the main oven out of use for small jobs. A glass lid folds down over the hob when cooking has finished, protecting the burners and returning a little worktop space.
