The TK5W1214HW is the white 12kg machine in the 5 Series, built for large households where the washing never really stops. A drum this size takes a king size duvet, a full set of bedding or a week of work and school clothes in one cycle, at 1400rpm and with an A energy rating.
The practical argument for 12kg is fewer cycles. One full load uses less water and electricity than two half loads, so the saving comes from matching the machine to the household rather than from the energy label on its own. At the end of the cycle the 1400rpm spin pulls out enough water that even bulky cotton items go on the line or into a dryer noticeably lighter.
Steam works through the load during the wash, loosening soiling without needing a higher temperature and relaxing creases so heavy items are easier to deal with afterwards. A 15 minute quick wash covers small refresh loads, and the eco wash extends the cycle at a lower temperature for everyday mixed washing.
Fifteen programmes run through the LED display, an inverter motor drives the drum with fewer parts to wear out and a child lock secures the controls.
