A 10kg drum moves this machine into family territory, taking a king size duvet, a week of school uniform or a full load of towels in a single cycle rather than two. The TK3W1014XS pairs that capacity with a 1400rpm spin and an A energy rating, finished in graphite for kitchens specified with darker appliances.
The larger the load, the more the spin speed counts. At 1400rpm a bulky item such as a duvet comes out of the drum carrying considerably less water than it would at 1200rpm, which shortens drying time and reduces the energy spent in a tumble dryer afterwards. Steam supports the wash itself, helping lift soiling at lower temperatures and relaxing creases so heavy cotton items are easier to handle when they come out.
Fifteen programmes cover the usual fabric types, with a 15 minute quick wash for lightly worn clothes and an eco wash that drops the temperature and extends the cycle for lower consumption. An inverter motor drives the drum with fewer wearing parts, the LED display reports time remaining and a child lock locks off the panel.
Dimensions are 59.5cm wide, 56.5cm deep and 85cm high, so check both depth and height against the worktop before fitting. Net weight is 63kg and spin noise peaks at 74dB. It runs on a standard 220-240V 50Hz supply with a fitted 3-pin UK plug.
