Description
The TKED54W is a 50cm freestanding electric cooker in white, aimed at smaller kitchens, flats and rental properties where a 60cm appliance will not fit but two oven cavities are still wanted. The main oven holds 61L, the top cavity 31L, and the ceramic hob above has four zones rated at three by 1200W and one by 1800W.
The second cavity is what makes the difference day to day. It doubles as the grill and comes up to heat quickly, so toast, chops or a tray of bacon can be dealt with without heating the larger oven. That keeps running costs down on small jobs and allows two different cooking temperatures at the same time when a meal needs it.
Five cooking functions are offered across the two cavities. The ceramic hob gives a flat, unbroken surface with no pan supports to remove, so spills can be wiped off once the glass has cooled rather than soaking into burner wells. The oven interiors are lined in easy-clean enamel and the door glass lifts out for washing.
A grill pan and two chrome wire shelves are included. External dimensions are 49.6cm wide, 60.0cm deep and 90.0cm high, matching a standard 500mm cooker space, and net weight is 42.5kg. The published energy rating is A, and the appliance carries two years of warranty cover when registered.
